The Challenge

Basic schema provides minimal benefits while competitors use advanced markup to display rich search results with ratings, prices, and visual enhancements that capture more clicks.

Our Solution

AppWT implements advanced schema for FAQs, videos, reviews, and specialized content types. Enable rich results that make your search listings more prominent and informative than competitors.

About Our Advanced Schema Markup Services

Advanced schema goes beyond basic markup to implement specialized structured data types. We add schema for FAQs, how-tos, videos, events, reviews, courses, recipes, job postings, and software applications. This markup enables rich results that include ratings, pricing, availability, video previews, and other enhanced displays. Each schema type has specific requirements and opportunities. Ann Arbor software companies and Flint educational institutions use advanced schema to stand out in competitive search results. Implementation includes organization schema that establishes brand entities, breadcrumb markup for navigation clarity, and sitelinks search box for branded searches. We mark up multiple content types on single pages when appropriate, creating comprehensive structured data. Testing validates markup before deployment and monitors for errors that prevent rich results. Advanced schema increases click-through rates by making search listings more informative and visually prominent than competitors showing plain text results.

Technical Details

Structured data is emitted as JSON-LD in the document head rather than as inline microdata, which keeps the markup separable from presentation and lets it survive template changes. Each page carries a connected graph rather than a pile of unrelated blocks: entities reference one another by @id, so the Organization declared once is the same Organization the LocalBusiness, Service, and Review nodes point back to. LocalBusiness uses the narrowest accurate subtype the vocabulary offers, since a generic type discards the specificity that made the markup worth adding. Required properties are distinguished from recommended ones, and a type is emitted only when the visible page genuinely contains what it describes, because markup claiming content the page does not show is a policy violation rather than an optimization. FAQPage is reserved for real question and answer content, and Review and AggregateRating appear only where genuine reviews exist and are visible on the page. sameAs links tie the entity to profiles that can be checked. Every page is run through the Rich Results Test before it ships, and Search Console enhancement reports are monitored afterward, since validation passing at publish time does not guarantee eligibility later.

Advanced Schema Markup Across Metro Detroit & Beyond

Our headquarters sits at Five Mile and Farmington in Livonia. We have served Michigan businesses since 1997 — 29+ years from one home base, now serving clients nationwide across the United States and in five more countries.

Livonia Home Base

Structured data describes a real business, so it starts with facts we can check. Our Livonia office at Five Mile and Farmington confirms your name, address and profiles before any LocalBusiness markup is written, because markup that disagrees with reality is worse than none.

Wayne County Corridor

Businesses across Westland, Garden City, Plymouth, Canton, Northville, Redford, Dearborn and Detroit often carry inconsistent listings from years of directory sign-ups. Those get reconciled before sameAs references are added.

Oakland County

Multi-location operators in Farmington Hills, Novi, Southfield, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Royal Oak and Troy need each location described as its own entity, linked by @id rather than repeated as separate unconnected blocks.

Beyond Metro Detroit

Clients in Flint, Ann Arbor, Lansing and Grand Rapids, and nationally, get every page run through the Rich Results Test before it ships and their Search Console enhancement reports watched afterward.
